Tools & Resources for CV & Cover Letter preparation

Europass , is a widely known and free good tool to use to prepare a CV. It is easy to use, and you have of choice of preparing it in 30 different languages.

The Europass site offers you the option to create a Cover Letter and test your digital skills as well.

Tips for a good CV & Cover Letter:

Research the company you want to apply to.
Customize the CV and cover letter according to the role you are applying for.
Do not make your CV & Cover Letter too long.

Validation of Previous (Foreign) Degrees: For a lot of jobs (especially in the public sector and less in private sector) a recognition of a foreign degree is required for a any individual, either a Greek citizen or a third-country national, who has studied in a foreign university (a University, a Technical University OR a Technological Educational Institution). DOATAP is the organization that completes that process.

Few tips:

All the steps might seem overwhelming at first, but please make sure you read the instructions carefully before you start the process.
Unless your degrees are translated into English (or originally in English) or French they must be translated into Greek.
Your High School Diploma needs to be validated often by a letter from the Embassy in Greece of the country where it was issued.
