Looking for a job in Italy is a real job! In fact, it requires an investment of time and a lot of patience and perseverance.

It is necessary to set up a job search strategy using both formal channels (advertisements, online search, specialized magazines, etc.) and informal ones (friends, relatives, people known from previous jobs or school, etc.).

In addition, social networking channels, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and YouTube, offer the possibility of creating a professional profile to get in touch with potential employers and exchange ideas, information and opportunities.

  • Contact the Job Centres (Centri per l’Impiego). They guide, train and match labour supply and demand;
  • Enter his/her name in a professional database. In addition to the Job Centres, other associations offer the same service and are usually linked to the university or professional environment (Industrial Association, Artisans Association, etc.)
  • Leave a CV to companies that are specialized in the recruitment process or to employment agencies;
  • Send CV and self-application letter directly to the company.
