Immigration*
(a) Issuing of Certificates of Registration for EU citizens and Residence Cards to members of their families who are not citizens of the European Union.
(b) Handling applications for entry and residence of third country nationals who are family members of a Cypriot citizen and issuing of the relevant permits.
(c) Issuing of residence permits to third country nationals who are long term residents.
(d) Issuing of Immigration Permits.
(e) Handling applications for family reunification and issuing of entry and residence permits.
(f) Handling applications for entry and residence of third country nationals who wish to enter or reside in Cyprus as visitors and issuing of the relevant permits.
(g) Handling applications for entry and residence of third country nationals for the purposes of employment (general employment, domestic employment, employment at a foreign company, etc) and issuing of the relevant permits.
(h) Handling applications for entry and residence of third country nationals for studying purposes and issuing of the relevant permits.
(i) Issuance of residence permits to third country nationals who are holders of an international protection status.
(j) Handling applications for entry and residence for other purposes (research, volunteer service, etc) and issuing of the relevant permits.
(k) Imposing of administrative fines on carriers.
(l) Imposing of administrative fines on employers who illegally employ foreign students and imposing of such fines to the students illegally employed.

KISA – Action for Equality, Support, Antiracism is an NGO committed to promote values of equality, solidarity and anti-racism in the Cypriot society
KISA’s overall long-term objective is the creation of a multicultural society, where there is equality of all persons, irrespective of nationality, race or ethnic origin, colour, creed, gender, sexual or any other orientation, background or characteristic.
KISA’s activities focus on two general directions:
- Sensitisation of the Cypriot society about social discrimination and racism, the benefits of a multicultural society and reform of the immigration and asylum framework in Cyprus, through campaigns, conferences, cultural events, provision of information, publications and lobbying the authorities.
- Operation of Support Centres providing free legal and social services, guidance and advice to migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, in order to enable them to claim their rights and facilitate their integration and full participation in society.

Cyprus Refugee Council
The Cyprus Refugee Council (CyRC), is an independent, non for profit organization, that focuses on refugees, asylum seekers, detainees, trafficking victims and survivors of torture.
The Cyprus Refugee Council (CyRC) was established as the evolution of the Humanitarian Affairs Unit of the NGO Future Worlds Center. The Unit during its 12 years of operation had grown significantly to become the expert in Cyprus on refugee and other related issues. The team and activities carried out by the Unit continue on the CyRC.
The work of Cyprus Refugee Council:
- Advocate for the establishment and implementation of positive legislation, policies and practices, in accordance with International and European Law;
- Offer legal, social and psychological direct support to persons of concern with the aim to ensure access to rights, integration into the local communities and a satisfactory quality of life.
- Conduct and organise trainings, workshops, seminars and other capacity building activities
- Promote a positive and respectful public attitude towards vulnerable groups by encouraging open-mindedness, addressing marginalisation and discrimination of persons of concern and combating xenophobia and intolerance;
- Undertake research activities in order to develop existing knowledge and conduct sound analysis of the cultural, political and economic context persons of concern and their host communities as well as the community dynamics.

HelpRefugeesWork is an initiative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Office in Cyprus, in collaboration with its NGO partner, the Cyprus Refugee Council.
All services provided by HelpRefugeesWork are free of charge.
