Today digital skills are a core component of the most useful skills, especially for entrepreneurs dealing with the new digital economy. Therefore, almost all the population uses a computer in their daily life and has internet access.
Acquired digital skills are necessary to share information, to use applications and programs and digital devices.
Specifically, UNESCO defines digital skills as:
“a range of abilities to use digital devices, communication applications, and networks to access and manage information. They enable people to create and share digital content, communicate and collaborate, and solve problems for effective and creative self-fulfilment in life, learning, work, and social activities at large.”
