Learning Objectives
The learning objectives of Module 5 – Intercultural Relations are as follows:
To develop a better understanding of the Portuguese cultural context, including values and traditions, with the aim of enabling social inclusion
To develop knowledge and to become aware of specific cultural dimensions characterising the Portuguese labour market
To develop skills and knowledge to expand networks in Portugal
To develop interpersonal skills and to become more confident in initiating networking opportunities
To increase awareness on how intercultural communication can help in better social and labour integration
To develop skills for life and work, and to provide TCN women with information enhancing understanding of the social constructions of Portugal
To get TCN women acquainted with the working environment in Portugal
To present effective ways and behavioural rules of intercultural communication in Portugal
