The learning objectives of Module 5 – Intercultural Relations are as follows:

• To develop a better understanding of the Portuguese cultural context, including values and traditions, with the aim of enabling social inclusion
• To develop knowledge and to become aware of specific cultural dimensions characterising the Portuguese labour market
• To develop skills and knowledge to expand networks in Portugal
• To develop interpersonal skills and to become more confident in initiating networking opportunities
• To increase awareness on how intercultural communication can help in better social and labour integration
• To develop skills for life and work, and to provide TCN women with information enhancing understanding of the social constructions of Portugal
• To get TCN women acquainted with the working environment in Portugal
• To present effective ways and behavioural rules of intercultural communication in Portugal
